ADVENTURE FIELD SQUIRRELS

Campers must be ages 6 or 7 by December 31, 2008 in order to be a Squirrel. All of the Squirrel activities revolve around the natural world.

Daily adventures will take them to the Leprechaun National Forest, the Hobbit and Fairy Village in the trees, the   Magical Cedar Grove, the Mystical Marsh and the ever popular Mud Pit! Each week the games, activities and crafts revolve around a different magical theme. Squirrels will also have a chance to go for a Voyageur canoe ride!

They will visit the waterfront for their daily swim lesson. Lessons take place in our supervised waterfront area and/or in our three foot deep above ground swimming pool, weather permitting. Depending on the campers swimming ability they may wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD).

Staff assist campers in applying insect repellant before hikes into the forest and encourage long pants and shirts.

There are marquee tents and large trees on site providing shaded program areas as well as an indoor pavilion where the Squirrels will eat their lunch every day. Staff assist the campers in applying sunscreen at least twice a day and encourage campers to drink at least 2 litres of water daily.

The cost of the Squirrel program is $280.00 per week for the six 5 day weeks and $240.00 per week for the two 4 day weeks (due to statutory holidays).
