CHALLENGER ADVENTURE DISCOVERY (Ages 10 & 11)

In the Challenger Discovery program, campers will learn basic wilderness survival skills. These will include shelter building, fire lighting with ‘no matches’, survival skills in the woods, orienteering, knots, fishing, wilderness first aid, and some relevant ecology. There’s lots of time to explore the lakeshore in the replica voyageur canoe and hike through the 700 acres of property.
Challengers will put all their newly learned skills to the test on an all day 'trip' on the property. They will paddle and hike to a special location known as Hemlock where they will set-up camp, build a cooking fire, make lunch and put it all to test!
There are also lots of opportunities for free swims on those really hot days as well!
