King Day Camp is located at Seneca College, King Campus in King City, Ontario. King Campus is the perfect setting for an outdoor adventure camp. Situated in the heart of the Oak Ridges Moraine, the property hosts: a provincially-significant wetland; large, private, fresh-water, kettle lake (Lake Seneca); 700 acres of forest; and, a network of over 15km of trails, ideal for hiking, mountain biking and exploring.
The Seneca Outdoor Education Centre (SOEC), home to King Day Camp (KDC) has several facilities dedicated to its programs including: the Log Cabin, Pavilion, Cabazeebo’s, Cabadisco’s, Marquee Tents, Camp Administration Building, Boathouse, Quarter-Master Building and more! KDC has a diverse waterfront program that includes: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, paddle-boarding, water trampoline and swimming, all from its private sandy beach and network of docks. KDC has a fleet of high performance mountain bikes, beach volleyball courts, gymnasium, gaga ball pits and a newly renovated above ground swimming pool. In the air, KDC has one of the most diverse offerings of aerial elements, including a: Zip Line, Flying Squirrel, Giant Swing, High Ropes Course, Buccaneers Ambition, Climbing Tower, Badger Wall, Team Balance, Vertical Playpen, Low Ropes, Whale Watch, Squirrel Park and more! If that’s not enough, KDC is proud to offer traditional and non-traditional sports, arts, photography, ESL, science & technology based programs. KDC is certain to have a program to meet the needs and interest of your camper! KDC is located away from roads, parking-lots and pavement.
