In the Challenger Adventure Options programs, campers are able to choose two options for the week upon registration. One option will take place in the morning every day and the other option will take place in the afternoon every day to create a full day of adventure.
The 6 Outdoor Skill options you may choose from are listed below:
Personal Challenge, teamwork and good times in the air! As a group you’ll create a community of support and cooperation and then put it to the test on the, Buccaneers Ambition(New), Low Ropes, Team Balance, Flying Squirrel, High Ropes & Giant Swing throughout the week.
Campers will learn about the fundamental skills like the ready position, gearing and hill work as they ride our double track trails. Campers will advance to our more challenging single track trails throughout the week. On Thursdays campers will participate in a fun Time Trial Event. This program has a bit of everything camp has to offer. Over the week you’ll be able to experience programs using canoes, kayaks, the climbing tower, archery and the Flying Squirrel! Lots of activities are built in to make sure this is tons of fun! Even if you’ve done these things before they’re a ton of fun to do with a group of new friends!
Get creative in our KDC Pottery studio! Learn to throw on a potter’s wheel and have fun with exciting hand building techniques. Exercise your imagination and practice your new skills to create meaningful objects. Learn about the glazing and the firing process to finish your works of art. On Fridays campers will create a pottery gallery in our great outdoors to display their creations. Pictures of the gallery will be available on our website to view. Campers will also participate in a daily swim and have an opportunity to try stand-up paddle boarding to cool off.
